Roger Bricknell made it a hatric of Bricknell wins in the BTRDA® Sporting Trials championship and won the Derbyshire for the eleventh time.

In very dry dusty but challenging conditions Roger Bricknell led all day despite a late charge by 2006 winner Duncan Stephens who tied with Bricknell three hills from the end until a costly misjudgement of pace. Paul Price took second from Stephens on a tie-break with Ian Rodman also finishing on the same score to win the intermediate class from Roland Uglow, who had Laura Wilks passengering for the first time. Following his event win last week Thomas Bricknell won the novice class taking eighth overall from Barry Hogg.
