Roger Bricknell won his first event since last September making the long trip from Cornwall to Cumbria worthwhile.

Bricknell soon proved to be the class of the field in very dry conditions at the picturesque Gale Hall site dropping only two marks. Despite the conditions the thirty-two sections proved very challenging. Mark Milne proved to be the closest challenger upholding local honour whilst taking the intermediate class. Roland Uglow, had his best result for six months taking third overall, on his birthday.

David Rance again produced a great drive to win the novice category, in what is proving to be a very promising debut year.
