Roland Uglow wins from Duncan Stephens following each others wheel tracks! Tim Edwards rolls...

 

During the JB Taylor sporting trial near Crewkerne, Cornwall's Tim Edwards had an unfortunate double sideways roll off section. Though his injuries were not thought serious, an ambulance was called which then due to the remote nature of the site resulted in an Air Ambulance been called out. Following a brief checkup at Yeovil hospital Edwards was discharged with no serious injuries at 1730pm. The organising club, http://www.sportingtrials.com/ raised £143.06 for the air ambulance service at the end of the trial.

Roland Uglow won the JB Taylor sporting trial on Sunday, following Duncan Stephens all day to beat him by just two points at the finish of the trial. Initially a heavy dew made conditions slippery, but rapidly dried. Julian Fack finished third on a low scoring day. Monty Peters won the intermediate class by a single point from Stuart Beare, who is gradually getting used to his new Sherpa Indy car. Arthur Carroll won the novice class in a brilliant twenty second overall, in a field of over forty.
