Ian Wright took his first win of 2007 taking the Peter Blankstone from John Fack on the tie-break in remarkably dry conditions.

Wright lead all day having produced a stunning climb on the first round, but it was Fack who closed in towards the end although this was not quite sufficient to win overall. This was to be the first event that hadn’t being won by a Crossle since October last year making it all more special for Wright. Stephens continued his consistency of late to take a comfortable third.

Roland Uglow won the blue class narrowly from John Ridley, despite a late scare breaking a driveshaft with seven sections left. With help from fellow competitors it was soon repaired. Anthony Lane continued his dominance of the novice class taking a clear win from Ian Evett.
