November Sporting - Sportingtrials.com
Date: 1st November 2009
John Fack won the November sporting trial in atrocious conditions dropping just two marks, from Ian Wright just a point behind. Duncan Stephens finished third despite breaking a driveshaft, which cost him the overall win. The top three all dropped marks on the same hill that was cleared by Roland Uglow, Ian Rodman and Julian Fack on the first round. Julian Fack lead early but fell back to fourth during the afternoon as hill descents became extremely treacherous. Richard Robarts excelled in his own built RB7 to finish fifth overall and win the intermediate class from Ian Rodman. Andrew Bell won the novice class by just a mark from new young star Aurther Carroll who both beat two past British champions.
The South West team of John Fack, Stephens and Rodman won the inter-association team event which formed part of the November Sporting, ahead of a West Midlands team of Julian Fack, Pete Fensom and Dave Oliver.
