Gold Star changes venue

The 2008 BTRDA® Sporting Trials Final location has been changed. Originally planned to be at Tulleys Farm in Sussex, issues with the site have necessitated an alternative site being sourced. Northern Pheonix Trials Car Club (NPTCC) will now organise the final on their vast Gale Hall site, Melmerby near Penrith on Saturday 10th January, 2009.
 
Having organised the best event within the BTRDA® championship last year this will enable NPTCC to yet again demonstrate the magnificent terrain and their expert organising skills. NPTCC said it was an honour to be asked to host such a prestigious event and the club will endeavour to put on an event worthy of the heritage of the Gold and Silver Star. It's great that after just five years we have been invited to host this same event at Gale Hall for the BTRDA®, after many years hard work by Gerald and Eva Hepplewhite setting the foundations within the club.
 
Julian Fack, BTRDA® Sporting Trials Chairman commented that NPTCC have been exceptionally helpful in agreeing to facilitate the final at such short notice, and help to organise a rejuvenated dinner dance too. We have no doubt that they can provide yet another first class weekend, as we have become accustomed to from such a strong trialling club.
