Raymond Baxter - NPTCC
Date: 6th April 2008
Roland Uglow ended up a clear winner of the Raymond Baxter Trial in Cumbria having made the long trip from Cornwall in the snow, following a late change of venue due to conditions.
Early leader Roger Bricknell struggled after lunch in conditions that suited the extra power of Uglow's Crosslé, leaving the two well clear of the rest. Monty Peters also combined the trip from London with work to finish third winning the green class. Mark Milne finished fourth and Pat Henson a fabulous fifth. Dougie Parkinson won the novice class in fourteenth place.
