Ian Wright won his third trial in his new car despite breaking the anti-roll bar two hills from the end.

 

Wright, Duncan Stephens and Roger Bricknell ended up in a class of their own, battling for the outright win eventually finishing in that order. Phil Yarwood had a brilliant day winning the intermediate class from Richard Waterhouse in fourth. Simon Kingsley had a steady day in fifth. Martin Grimwood won the novice class finishing inside the top ten.
