Gloucester Trial

Please see below notice from London Car Club Secretary - Glen McKeown:

It is with considerable regret that I have to announce that the Gloucester Trial will not run this year. After running at the Frocester site for 19 years we were curtly told on Friday that they had arranged the previous day for the Scramblers to use the site - notwithstanding that we had written to them 2 months before.  Apparently the bikers are prepared to pay more - though the owners have never once raise the question of money with the LCC. A number of people have been working very hard over the last couple of days to arrange an alternate site, and we came very close.  However, the extremely wet weather is making everyone cautious, and I had come to the reluctant conclusion that we are not going to get a suitable site in the timescale.

We do intend to hold a Gloucester in 2008.  It may well be on a new site.  If anyone has any knowledge of suitable sites in the Gloucester area please get in touch.

I have not banked any of your cheques, and will destroy them forthwith.
