Thomas Bricknell eventually won his third trial of his debut season at the David Ayres trial with three different leads during the day.
Roger Bricknell lead initially but after lunch slipped back to sixth which left Roland Uglow to lead but with two hills left son Ben broke his car and Roland lost concentration and finished second to young Bricknell.
Ben Uglow excelled, producing the drive of the day finishing a brilliant seventh overall winning the club class, with dad Roland winning the intermediate class from Ian Rodman. With Bricknell winning overall, Barry Hogg won the novice class from David Rance.
