Roland Uglow spectacularly won his first trial in fifteen years on his own farm at the Robin Alexander trial from reigning British champion John Fack.
Uglow lead all day to take a very popular win following a close challenge from Fack. Favourite Roger Bricknell who has previously won this event nine times finished third just in front of Duncan Stephens.
With Uglow winning overall, Cumbrian Robin Jager won the intermediate class from local Jason Daniel, while local Thomas Bricknell lead the novice class winning from Cumbrian Barry Hogg. Ben Uglow won the clubman's class with a top fifteen result in a field of forty.
