Dave Oliver retaining his MSA Championship

Dave Oliver cruised to another win at the Ernest Owen Car Trial to retain the MSA Championship. Steve Courts challenged him early on but broke the differential during the afternoon. Nick Pollitt drove superbly to finish second overall and best Owen Motoring Club, ahead of Simon Harris who repeated his class win of last week. John Ludford competed in his first ever car trial in his classic trials prepared Marlin and finished fourth overall. Under 17 Car Club BTRDA Drive winner Sophie Bennett drove superbly on her second ever trial to win the new class and finish ninth overall. John Moffatt and BTRDA MN Drive 2008 winner John Fox shared a Nova chasing BTRDA Allrounders points. Moffatt had never driven front wheel drive before in a trial and finished fourth in class, with Fox fifth.
