In a joint collaboration between the Sporting Trial, Car Trial and Motorsports Future sections of the BTRDA, a Trial Training Day is being held on Saturday 21 March 2009 at one of the best trials sites in the country, near Stourport on Severn, Worcs.

The day will provide an opportunity to see and experience the intricacies of car trialling, with intensive training from many BTRDA expert trial drivers, including driving up typical trials hills ("sections") either in your own car or one kindly made available by our trainers. The event is also aimed at drivers seeking to hone their skills in a non-competitive environment; a key feature of this being repeated attempts at the sections, coupled with the one-to-one tuition available as required.

Tuition will also cover the safety and administrative side of trials and is therefore suited to marshals and organisers, not just drivers and their passengers ("bouncers"). Yes, trials cars have a "crew" of driver and passenger, the latter playing a vital role in the effectiveness of the climb.
