Hagley & DLCC
Date: 14th March 2010
For the first time in living memory (well it seems like it) the sun shone at Curborough for the first round of this year's Championship. 32 competitors took on the challenging tests designed by Malcolm Livingston and there was a tight battle for overall honours between the Sportscars & Specials with last year's Champion Alastair Moffatt taking FTD from Richard Pinkney by just 0.9 sec after 16 tests. Class wins went to Howard Everingham (Mini), Lee Valentine (Nova), Richard Pinkney (Caterham 7), Stuart Perren (Retrotester) and Roger Holder (Civic) trying out the standard class. Helen Perren took the Ladies award while Richard Bass, in his first Championship event was the best Novice.
