Autotest championship final event

With the 2009 Gold and Silver Stars taking a rest before the Ken Wharton team event it was a good chance for others to show their skills at the series sponsors car park.  It was Richard Pinkey who got his first full FTD of the season at the the Wrexham home of Demon Tweeks.  It was as a just reward after 8 runner up places. In his mini, Howard Everingham scored a good class win in the minis class and joined Dave Cook on points for the Silver Star but with one less class win the Star goes to Dave.  Lloyd Bass ended the season on a high with a class win in the road going class and a secure Bronze Star win.

2 October 2009 - Provisional championship final points are below. Awards list to follow after the next Autotest Committee meeting.  Before then, voting slips/emails will be going to the 39 championship entrants who competed on least 6 events and are eligible to nominate the best event.
