Autotest double header weekend

The Saturday Maidstone and Mid Kent Kent Driver event was also a round of the MSA Link Autotest championship and had a record number of drivers in the road going class. Duncan Stephens writes:
Alastair Moffatt drove superbly to win his second Autotest of the year ahead of Richard Pinkney who headed a top ten dominated by rear wheel drive cars. Steve Morten completed the top three half a minute behind. Chris Chapman drove cleanly to score a brilliant fifth overall in a big, high quality entry of forty-two. John Moffatt won the Nova class by thirty seconds despite recently having a broken ankle pinned. Howard Everingham won the mini class re-finding his pace of the last two years. Dave Cook won the road going saloon class from Duncan Stephens who broke his gearbox on the last test.

On Sunday at the New Barnfield Library site near Hatfield Mike Biss and the CSMA crew put on another superb event with Alastair once agian getting FTD and making it likely that he will retain both national titles.
