GBS Kit Spares BTRDA Autosolo Championship
With the weather of recent weeks, you couldnt forecast our luck at the first of two Ross & District MC events this year. The second event in the new 'National B' BTRDA Championship couldn't come round fast enough for most, as the bug sets in again for another year of cheap exhilerating fun.
The National B event had attracted 20 entrants in total, with the BTRDA competitors mixing it up, with some of those competing in the Cotswold championship. 9 competitors competed in Class A, with familiar names Hayden Marks and John Fox pushing each other to the limits finishing with 0.4 secs of each other and Hayden taking the spoils.
Classes B, C and D each had three competitors in each. Ben Heggs competing once again in Class B was up against Simon Harris, with Simon's typical three wheel entertaining action. Ben finished a solid 2nd place in a hard class., with some sleek consistant driving.
Class C saw the main man Kevin Belcher remaining a firm force and definitely someone to show how to produce consistant times, once again posting times in each run faster than anyone.
Class D and E saw the sports cars mix it up all day long. Stuart and Ian Harrison having an awesome father son duel. Its true what they saw talent is in the gene, Staurt will certainly one to watch by the end of the season - natural ability combine with youth a dangerous mix. There was only 2 seconds between Matt, Stuart and Ian in the end with Matt coming out top.
Once again thanks have to go out to the organisers for there hard work, as events go its going to be hard to beat the facilities that were on offer and the effectiveness of the orgainsing team.
